Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in a primary care setting. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, acting both as a Medical Receptionist and performing clinical MA duties.

The role requires 1+ year MA experience, completion of an MA program, CPR/BLS, and may prefer phlebotomy skills. Competitive benefits and a patient-centered work culture await.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred; required where state rules apply.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Review medical information and gather updated health information for the provider.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Collaborate with care team to develop patient plans and address care gaps.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Document data in medical records per guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate results to patients as instructed.
