Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The Medical Assistant works closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience. This role combines medical assisting with front-desk responsibilities to ensure a smooth patient journey.

Requirements include at least 1 year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification. Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals, perform blood draws, assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical records requests and referrals.
• Document data in the medical record per guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate results to patients.
• Support care team to develop patient plans of care.
