Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and create an exceptional guest experience.

The role combines clinical duties with front-desk responsibilities to support the patient journey. Requirements include 1 year of MA experience (preferred in primary care), completion of an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant (primary care preferred).
• Graduation from a Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred or required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, and wound care assistance.
• Assist with lab orders and tests; coordinate with providers.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and outreach.
• Document data accurately in medical records and communicate test results.
