Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our care team in a primary care setting. You will support the physician, manage patient flow, take vitals, assist with procedures, and ensure a welcoming guest experience.

Applicants should have 1+ year MA experience, program completion, and MA certification/registration where required. CPR/BLS is required; phlebotomy is a plus. Competitive benefits and pay offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a Primary Care setting.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform basic procedures, and assist with injections.
• Record data and coordinate with care team for patient plans of care.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and coordinating external visits.
