Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA will support clinicians, take vitals, perform injections, manage labs, and handle front-desk tasks to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of MA experience, formal MA training, and CPR/BLS certification. Phlebotomy experience is a plus. This on-site role supports our comprehensive primary care model.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• MA certification or registration is required for employment in states where required.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms; ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Work with contracted labs for additional tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by Providers.
• Front desk duties including scheduling, medical records requests, and referrals.
• Record data accurately in the medical record and manage test results communication.
