Next Level Urgent Care, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care under supervision of the Physician/Medical Provider. The MA is responsible for helping patients, preparing exam rooms, and ensuring smooth facility operations.

You will measure vital signs, perform basic tests, assist with procedures, and help maintain a clean, safe environment. Proficiency with EMR and strong communication are essential; ability to work day, night, and weekend shifts is required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some medical experience preferred.
• BCLS certification required.
• Ability to work day, night, and weekend shifts as needed.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients, escort to room, and initiate registration.
• Measure vital signs and record in chart/EMR.
• Explain procedures and prepare patient and exam room.
• Assist Physician/Medical Provider with procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and sterilize instruments.
• Perform diagnostic tests and CLIA-waived labs.
• Collect and process specimens for send-out.
• Perform urine drug screens and document chain of custody.
• Assist with dressing changes and sutures/staples as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in ongoing education.
• Participate in Quality Improvement programs.
