Next Level Urgent Care, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care and help the facility meet its goals under the Physician/Medical Provider.

You will greet patients, escort them, take vital signs, document in EMR, prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, perform basic tests (eye exams, ECG, pulse oximetry, spirometry), run CLIA-waived lab tests and urine drug screens (DOT and Non-DOT), maintain a clean environment, and participate in continuing education and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some medical experience preferred.
• BCLS certification required.
• Flexibility to work day, night and weekend shifts as needed.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems.
• Detail oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients in waiting area and escort to examination room.
• Measure vital signs and record information in the chart/EMR.
• Explain procedures and prepare exam room for examination.
• Assist Physician/Medical Provider with procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and sterilize instruments as needed.
• Perform diagnostic tests (eye exams, ECG, pulse oximetry, peak flow, spirometry).
• Perform CLIA-waived lab tests and collect/process specimens for send-out.
• Conduct DOT and non-DOT urine drug screens with proper chain of custody.
• Remove sutures/staples and change dressings as required.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in ongoing education and quality initiatives.
