Job summary

Next Level Urgent Care, LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of the Physician/Medical Provider. The MA will greet patients, measure vital signs, assist with procedures, and help maintain a clean, safe environment.

The role includes performing basic lab tests and documentation in the EMR, with shifts including day, night, and weekend hours, as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BCLS certification.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with EMR.
• Ability to work day, night and weekend shifts.
• Detail oriented with strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, escort to exam room, and initiate registration.
• Measure vital signs and record in chart/EMR.
• Explain procedures and prepare patient and exam room for examination.
• Assist Physician/Medical Provider with procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe environment; sterilize instruments and manage supplies.
