Job summary

Next Level Medical is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care and clinical operations. The MA will greet patients, assist physicians, and prepare exam rooms, while ensuring accurate charting in EMR and adherence to safety protocols.

The role requires basic computer skills, BCLS certification, and the ability to work day, night, and weekend shifts as needed, with attention to detail and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Some medical experience.
• BCLS certification.
• Ability to work all shifts including day, night, and weekend hours as needed.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with electronic medical records.
• Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and ensure smooth patient flow; initiate registration and registration process.
• Measure vital signs and record information in chart/EMR.
• Explain treatment procedures and prepare patient and exam room.
• Assist the Physician/Medical Provider with procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment; sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Perform CLIA-waived lab tests and process specimens.
• Perform DOT and Non-DOT urine drug screens with proper chain of custody.
• Remove sutures/staples and change dressings.
• Participate in Quality Improvement and mandatory education/training programs.
