Oak Street Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care and clinic operations in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes accurate data collection, vital signs, screenings, and coordination with the care team to enhance patient experiences.

The position requires MA certification or graduation from an MA program, CPR/BLS, EMR experience, and strong computer skills. Full-time hours with a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Formación

• State or national MA certification or graduation from an accredited MA program.
• At least 1 year of medical assistant experience.
• CPR or BLS certification and EMR experience.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure an efficient patient flow; room patients in a timely manner, complete vital signs, screenings and medication reviews.
• Inventory supplies and stock exam rooms.
• Respond to patient requests for telephonic support (lab results, records requests).
• Administer vaccinations and point-of-care tests as permitted by state regulations.
• Import required documents into EMR via scanning or PDF upload.
• Participate in care team meetings to discuss patient care and operations.
• Process orders for durable medical equipment.
• Request medical records from external providers as required by the provider.
• Conduct routine quality control checks including infection control measures.
