The role requires MA certification or completion, 1 year MA experience, CPR/BLS, and proficiency with office software. Strong communication and flexibility are essential, with focus on an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

• State or national certification (as required by state) or MA program completion.
• 1 year experience as medical assistant.
• CPR or BLS Certification.
• Electronic Medical Record experience.
• Computer skills: Gmail, MS Word, Excel etc.”
• Proficiency in non-English languages as required by center demographics.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient patient flow: room patients, take vitals, perform screenings and med reviews.
• Inventory supplies and stock exam rooms.
• Respond to patient requests for telephonic communications (lab results, records).
• May administer vaccines and point-of-care tests per state regs.
• Import documents into EMR via scanning or PDF upload.
• Participate in care team meetings and clinic operations.
• Process orders for durable medical equipment; request records as needed.
• Conduct routine quality control checks and infection control tasks.
