The role requires MA certification or completion of an accredited MA program, 1 year of MA experience, CPR/BLS, EMR experience, and proficiency with basic software.

Qualifications

• State or national MA certification or completion of an accredited MA program.
• 1 year of experience as a medical assistant.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• EMR experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with basic office software (Gmail, Word/Docs, Excel).
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain efficient patient flow by rooming patients and recording vital signs.
• Inventory management for exam rooms and supplies.
• Provide telephonic support for patient requests and results.
• Perform point-of-care tests and vaccinations where permitted by state.
• Import documents into EMR and manage records.
• Participate in care team meetings to discuss patient care and clinic operations.
• Process orders for durable medical equipment.
• Request medical records from external providers as needed.
• Conduct routine quality control and infection control checks.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
