Job summary

Ascension in Racine, WI seeks a Clinical Support Associate to assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations, record medical history, measure vital signs, prepare treatment rooms, and manage essential clerical tasks.

This full-time, 36-hour schedule runs Mon, Tue, Thu (7:15am–5:00pm) and Wed (8:45am–6:00pm) in the Spring St Internal Medicine All Saints facility. Ascension offers generous benefits, tuition reimbursement, PTO, and a supportive, mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) within 1 month of hire.
• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
• Professional licensure/certification may substitute education/experience where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations, treatments, and specialized clinical duties.
• Interview patients to record medical history and accurately measure vital signs for charting.
• Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms while ensuring medical supplies are ordered and stocked.
• Manage essential clerical tasks, including phone communications, record maintenance, and filing.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
