Job summary

Ascension in Racine, WI is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health/Specialty Care site leader. The role oversees operations, staffing, and finances while partnering with physicians and executives to advance clinical services. Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm as needed to support the clinic.

The position requires leadership in a healthcare setting and a track record of optimizing patient flow, team development, and budget management. A strong orientation to service and mission-based work is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
• Bachelor’s in Healthcare Admin, Business or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of healthcare clinic leadership operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with practice physicians and leadership to develop long-term business plans and expand clinical services.
• Direct recruitment, scheduling, payroll, and professional development; foster an inclusive, high-performing workplace.
• Oversee day-to-day site logistics, optimize patient flow, and ensure seamless delivery of high-quality care.
• Manage site budgets, monitor billing and collections workflows, and support physician compensation planning.
• Serve as primary liaison connecting staff, physicians, health system administration, and external partners.
