Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility in Manhattan, New York is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time, onsite role. You will support patients throughout their fertility journey, assist with procedures, and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team. Training will be at our Brooklyn clinic for 4-6 weeks.

Work hours are 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Qualifications include a high school diploma, a Medical Assisting certificate, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate from an accredited Medical Assisting program.
• Phlebotomy certification strongly recommended.
• Maintain current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients and verify medical history.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments.
• Take vital signs, draw blood, and administer injections.
• Prepare exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Maintain accurate EMR records.
• Schedule patient appointments and referrals.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and medications.
• Adhere to infection control standards.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering.
• Respond to patient inquiries with excellent service.
• Support special projects as needed.

As a Medical Assistant you will assist with procedures, provide education, and support the multidisciplinary team, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care at every step of their path to parenthood.

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility in Manhattan, New York. This is a full-time, onsite position, working Monday through Friday with availability from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM and training will be at our Brooklyn clinic for 4-6 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update their information.
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform diagnostic tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are stocked and ready.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication protocols, and preventive care measures.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Assist with inventory management and clinical supply ordering.
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
• Perform other duties and support special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification from an accredited Medical Assisting program.
  • Phlebotomy certification strongly recommended.
  • Maintain current BLS certification.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Fertility or women's health experience is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to empathize with patients
• Flexibility:
  • Must be flexible and available to travel to other clinic locations and provide coverage on holidays and weekends as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $22.00-25.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
