Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility in Brooklyn, NY, seeks a compassionate Medical Assistant to support patients through the fertility journey. You will assist clinicians during exams, manage vital tasks, and help coordinate care in a fast-paced onsite setting.

This full-time role requires education in medical assisting, phlebotomy certification is preferred, and strong EMR skills. The schedule is Sunday-Thursday, with morning hours across the week and a commitment to patient-centered service.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Certification from an accredited Medical Assisting program.
  • Phlebotomy certification strongly recommended.
  • Maintain current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update their information.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Perform diagnostic tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are stocked and ready.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medication protocols, and preventive care measures.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety standards to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist with inventory management and clinical supply ordering.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Perform other duties and support special projects as assigned.

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - New York in Brooklyn, NY. This is a full-time, onsite position with a Sunday-Thursday schedule. Working hours are 7:00 AM-11:00 AM on Sundays and 6:30 AM-3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update their information.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Perform diagnostic tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.

    • Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
    • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to empathize with patients
  • Hourly Rate: $22.00-$25.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
