Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. is seeking a compassionate MED TECH to join Westmont of Santa Cruz, a new Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care community. You will perform medication setup, assist residents with self-administration, and ensure proper documentation and compliance with state requirements.

We offer competitive pay, daily pay, complimentary meals, and a 401K match. Shifts include 4 days on / 2 days off with AM, PM, and NOC options, in a caring, homelike environment that values

Qualifications

• Perform medication setup and assist residents on the Medication Program with self-administration of medications
• Set up, record, and assist with medications as ordered by physicians and/or at the direction of the LVN and RSD
• Document medication assistance on MARs immediately after assistance, leaving no blanks
• Document reasons for PRN medication on MARs, noting effectiveness of medication

What we need from you:

• Perform medication set-up and assist residents on the Medication Program with the self-administration of their medications

• Must be able to set up, record, and assist with medications as ordered by physicians and/or at the direction of the LVN and RSD.

• Provide medication assistance documentation per policy and state requirements including:

oDocument medication assistance on Medication Assistance Records (MARs) immediately after assistance, leaving no blanks

oDocument reasons for PRN medication on reverse of MARs, noting effectiveness ofmedication
