Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. is seeking a compassionate MED TECH for our Santa Barbara community to support residents with medication setup and administration. You will work under the direction of the RN and RSD within an Assisted Living and Memory Care setting.

The role requires completing required health screenings and a criminal background check, with opportunities for competitive pay, benefits after 30 days, and tuition assistance within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Perform medication set-up and assist residents on the Medication Program with the self-administration of their medications.
• Must be able to set up, record and assist with medications as ordered by physicians and/or at the direction of the RN and RSD.
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform medication setup and assist residents on the Medication Program with the self-administration of medications.
• Provide medication assistance documentation per policy and state requirements including: Document medication assistance on MARs immediately after assistance; Leaves no blanks on MARs; Document reasons for PRN medication on reverse of MARs and effectiveness of medication.
• Support residents with daily care needs as part of an assisted living and memory care community.

What we need from you:

• Perform medication set-up and assist residents on the Medication Program with the self-
