Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with medications within scope of practice. Responsibilities include ADL support, daily log documentation, medication cart audits, and reporting incidents. Must have CNA and Med Tech licenses, complete medication education, and pass annual observations.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• Must satisfactorily pass medication observations annually and complete medication training.
• Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and assist with transfers; flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents.
• Administer prescribed medications within scope of practice and document in EMAR/MAR.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate staff.
• Perform housekeeping and area cleaning as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergency alerts.
• Assist in planning and conducting resident activities and move-in transitions.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate resident information as required.
• Maintain medication cart, complete audits, and re-orders with pharmacy as needed.
• Record all medication needs and status in Daily Log and EMAR.
• Attend in-services and staff meetings; follow supervisor instructions.
