Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with activities of daily living for residents. The role involves administering medications within scope, documenting in EMAR/MAR, and ensuring safety and compliance with policies.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, completion of the Medication Aide Course, and active CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing, with ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medication Aide Course completed.
• CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing with the State Board.
• Pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Pass all medication cart audits.
• Attend 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to work with diverse staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Maintain policies and procedures related to the role.
• Report incidents and care concerns to RNs/LN Texans/appropriate staff.
• Complete medication cart audits and maintain EMAR/MAR documentation.
• Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly.
• Facilitate activities and plan resident engagement.
• Uphold confidentiality in handling resident information.
