Job summary

Harmony Senior Services seeks a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities, while supporting prescribed medication administration within scope. You will maintain policies, document in EMAR/MAR, and keep daily logs.

The role includes reporting concerns and participating in trainings and audits to ensure safety. The position requires CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing, completion of Medication Aide training, and willingness to work a flexible

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must satisfactorily pass all medication cart audits.
• Must attend 4 extra hours of medication education annually.
• Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with administration of prescribed medications per policy.
• Maintain policies and procedures knowledge and daily logs.
• Report incidents and resident status to appropriate staff.
• Attend medication trainings and participate in audits.
