Harmony Senior Services is hiring a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with medications within scope. You will help residents with daily living activities, ensure accurate documentation in EMAR/MAR, and maintain medication carts while adhering to policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess current Med Tech license in good standing.
• Must pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must pass all medication cart audits.
• Must complete 4 hours of medication administration education annually.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work with all levels of personnel.
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified within 60 days.
• Must represent the community in a positive and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications within the established scope of practice.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and move-in transitions.
• Report incidents and communicate resident status to the appropriate individuals.
• Complete medication cart audits and document in EMAR/MAR and Daily Log.
• Re-orders medications and communicate with residents' families as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties and maintain a safe, respectful environment.
