Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and daily living assistance to residents, including medication administration within scope. You will maintain policy knowledge, support activities of daily living, and communicate resident status to the team.

Responsibilities include documenting in EMAR/MAR, completing medication cart audits, and participating in trainings. Flexible scheduling, strong teamwork, and compassionate care are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medication Aide Course completed.
• Current CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• Pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Pass all medication cart audits.
• Attend 4 hours of medication administration education annually.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Organized and able to work with all levels of personnel.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become within 60 days.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Administer prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Report incidents and care concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed.
• Respond to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning activity programs for residents.
• Communicate resident status and information as needed.
• Assist new residents with move-in transition and emotional support.
• Document medication administration and MAR/EMAR entries.
