Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities. You will support prescribed medication administration within the established scope of practice and maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies and procedures.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and reliability, with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed. Training and career development are highlighted in the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Must complete Medication Aide Course.
• CNA and Med Tech licenses from State Board in good standing.
• Must pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must pass medication cart audits.
• Must attend 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually.
• Good verbal and written communication required.
• Must be organized and work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be a contributing member of the nursing team and follow supervisor instructions.
• Must be polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Maintain knowledge of all policies and procedures for the position.
• Respond to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed.
• Plan and conduct activity programs for residents.
• Document resident status and updates in reports and logs.
• Re-order medications and communicate changes with pharmacy and families.
