Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with activities of daily living for residents. The role includes administering prescribed medications within scope, maintaining EMAR/MAR records, and reporting resident status to nursing staff.

You must hold a CNA and Med Tech license in good standing, have completed the Medication Aide Course, and be able to pass medication observations and audits.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess both current CNA and Med Tech license from the State Board of Nursing in good standing.
• Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must satisfactorily pass all medication cart audits assigned.
• Must attend 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Administer prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Maintain medication cart and EMAR/MAR documentation.
• Report incidents and changes to nursing staff.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
