Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with daily living activities for residents. The role includes medication administration within scope, documentation in EMAR/MAR, and reporting incidents to RNs and supervisors.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completed Medication Aide course, CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing, and ongoing medication training. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess both current CNA and Med Tech license in good standing.
• Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must satisfactorily pass all medication cart audits.
• Must attend 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist residents to dining room and activities, and attend events.
• Complete medication cart audits and maintain EMAR/MAR documentation.
