Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities while administering prescribed medications within scope. The role includes maintaining medication carts, documenting on EMAR/MAR, and communicating resident status to the care team.

The position requires completion of the Medication Aide Course, a valid CNA and Med Tech license, and ability to pass annual medication observations and cart audits.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must complete Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• Must pass medication observations annually and cart audits.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration within the established scope of practice.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Maintain the medication cart and document on EMAR/MAR; report exceptions.
• Report incidents and communicate resident status to supervisors.
• Attend medication trainings and pass medication observations.
