Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care for residents, assist with daily living activities, and help manage prescribed medications within scope of practice.

The role requires current CNA and Med Tech licenses, completion of the Medication Aide Course, CPR/First Aid certification, and the ability to communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff. Flexibility with weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess CNA and Med Tech licenses from State Board in good standing.
• Must pass medication observations annually.
• Must pass all medication cart audits.
• Must attend 4 hours of medication administration education annually.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and collaborate with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures pertaining to position.
• Respond to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning activity programs for residents.
• Document medication administration and communications in EMAR/MAR and Daily Log.
• Re-order medications and communicate changes to residents and families as needed.
• Support residents during move-in and daily routines.
