Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities. The role includes administering medications within scope of practice, maintaining documentation, and supporting emergency responses.

The position requires a CNA and Med Tech license in good standing, completion of the Medication Aide Course, and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days). A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medication Aide Course required.
• Must possess CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures pertaining to the position.
• Report incidents involving residents to relevant personnel.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Respond to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting resident activity programs.
• Communicate resident status and important information in writing and verbally.
• Assist new residents with move-in transitions and provide emotional support.
• Complete medication cart audits and maintain EMAR/MAR documentation.
