Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities, including medication administration. The role requires CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing, and completion of mandated training and observations.

The position emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to policies, with opportunities to participate in activity planning, move-in support, and family communication.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must complete the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must attend 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within the established scope of practice.
• Maintain knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining to the position and document in the EMAR/MAR and Daily Log.
• Communicate resident status, appointments, admissions, and transfers to the health care team.
• Assist residents with move-in transitions and participate in activity programs.
