Job summary

Waltonwood is seeking a Med Tech who serves as a care provider, medical aide, and team lead within our Resident Care department. You will administer medications, assist with ADLs, and work with Caregivers to maintain resident independence and safety.

Responsibilities include charting meds, participating in shift changes, coordinating with physicians and pharmacies, and providing compassionate support while upholding resident dignity and safety across daily activities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per resident charts and document accordingly.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and daily tasks.
• Participate in shift change meetings and communicate resident status.
• Assist with janitorial tasks as needed.
• Act as shift supervisor to oversee resident care.
• Assist caregivers during transfers and other duties.
• Coordinate with physicians and pharmacies for proper orders.
• Report changes in conditions to physicians, families, and leadership.
• Communicate with residents, families, caregivers, and healthcare staff.
• Provide emotional support with dignity and positivity.
• Promote safety and wellbeing through procedures and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
