Job summary

Waltonwood is seeking a Med Tech to join our Resident Care team, providing medication administration and assisting residents with daily activities while promoting independence and safety in a caring community. The role reports to the Wellness Coordinator and supports caregivers to maintain resident dignity and well-being.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA required in North Carolina.
• Caregiving or Med Tech experience required.
• Experience with the elderly and memory impairment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication to residents per medical charts and document/restock med carts.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including toileting, showering, meals, light cleaning.
• Participate in shift change meetings to communicate resident status and needs.
• Serve as a shift supervisor to ensure resident care needs are met.
• Collaborate with physicians and pharmacies to ensure proper medication orders.
