Job summary

Waltonwood is seeking a Med Tech to join our Resident Care team. The role combines care giving, medication administration, and leadership to support residents in daily activities and safety.

You will work with Caregivers, Wellness Coordinators, and physicians to ensure proper medication orders and holistic resident care, emphasizing dignity and independence in a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• In North Carolina, CNA is required.
• Caregiving or Med Tech experience is required.
• Experience with the elderly and memory impairment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication to residents per medical charts and document accordingly.
• Assist residents with ADLs including toileting, showering, meals, mobility.
• Participate in shift change meetings to relay resident status and needs.
• Supervise shifts to ensure resident care needs are met and assist Caregivers as needed.
• Work with physicians and pharmacies to ensure proper medication orders and safety.
