Job summary

Waltonwood is seeking a Med Tech to serve as a care provider, medical aide, and team leader within our Resident Care program. You will administer medications, assist with Activities of Daily Living, and collaborate with Caregivers to help residents maintain independence and safety.

Reporting to the Wellness Coordinator, you will work with physicians and the pharmacy to ensure accurate med orders and proper documentation while promoting dignity and compassionate care in our Waltonwood communities.

Qualifications

• Caregiving or Med Tech experience required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA in North Carolina preferred or required per location.
• Experience with elderly and memory impairment recommended.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication to residents based on medical charts and document procedures.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as toileting, bathing, meals, mobility.
• Participate in shift change meetings and communicate resident status.
• Supervise and assist Caregivers during shifts.
• Coordinate with physicians and pharmacy to ensure proper medication orders.
• Report changes in resident conditions to physicians, families, and leadership.
