Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction for LPN/PN and RN students. The role includes evaluating student performance, guiding professional development, and maintaining accurate records.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN or higher and a current RN license, with at least 3 years of RN experience. Preference given to those with teaching experience and LMS proficiency, contributing to student

Qualifications

BSN or higher required.
Active RN license in applicable state.
Minimum 3 years of professional RN experience.
Clinical experience relevant to courses and clinicals being taught.
Experience with teaching or education preferred.
Experience with LMS or educational technology preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students as assigned.
Supervise students in clinical settings and ensure safe, professional nursing practice.
Evaluate student performance and clinical competency per program standards.
Prepare accurate progress and grade reports, and maintain attendance records.
Attend faculty meetings and participate in program development and collaboration with partners.
