Job summary

Werner Electric Supply in Appleton, WI, is seeking a Mechatronics Solution Consultant who assesses customer processes and delivers deep technical and industry expertise in Mechatronics. This role leads complex sales opportunities in Independent Cart, Complex Motion, Unified Robotics, and Emulation and Simulation technologies, driving growth and expanding share within key accounts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Automation, Engineering, Mechatronics, Sales & Marketing or related field.
5 years of relevant experience required.
7-10 years of related experience required in lieu of a degree.
Experience with customer engagement and providing tailored solutions.
Prior experience delivering presentations and demonstrations.
Ability to stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements.
Prior experience with Mechatronic solutions.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly across Werner territories.

Responsibilities

Meet sales performance goals and deliver consistent customer experience.
Consult customers to understand processes and identify improvements using Mechatronic technology.
Lead solution pursuits for Independent Cart, Complex Motion, Unified Robotics, and Emulation 3D.
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Experience, Business Consultants, Marketing and Automation Specialists to ensure cohesive engagement strategies.
Prepare bills of materials, develop solution proofs of concepts, and support customers through buying journey.
Log and manage targets, opportunities, tasks, and engagements in CRM.
Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to offer best mechatronic solutions.
Maintain technical competency across Werner and external partner solutions.
Analyze competitors and highlight differentiators to customers and partners.
Participate in account planning and sales strategy for Mechatronics.
Contribute to organizational commercial and marketing plans for Mechatronics.
Highlight Innovation Center's technology and services to position Werner as an industry leader.
Participate in trade shows and events.
