Job summary

Werner Electric Supply Company is seeking a Mechatronics Solution Consultant to assess customer processes and deliver deep technical expertise in Mechatronics. You will lead high-value solution designs, pursue complex opportunities, and drive growth across Werner territories with a focus on Independent Cart, Complex Motion, Unified Robotics, and Emulation/Simulation technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automation, Engineering, Mechatronics, Sales & Marketing or related field.
• 5 years of relevant experience required.
• 7–10 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with customer engagement and providing tailored solutions.
• Prior experience delivering presentations and demonstrations.
• Ability to stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements.
• Prior experience with Mechatronic solutions.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel regularly through Werner territories. Some overnight travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop complex Mechatronic sales opportunities in Independent Cart, Complex Motion, Unified Robotics, and Emulation and Simulation technologies.
• Collaborate with Sales & Customer Experience teams and Marketing to ensure cohesive engagement strategies.
• Review project specifications, prepare bills of materials, and develop solution proofs of concept.
• Log and manage targets, opportunities, tasks, and engagements in the CRM tool.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to offer the best mechatronic solutions.
