Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team across the building. You will repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, install and service automated packaging lines, and mentor junior technicians to help them grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintaining material handling equipment (MHE) or equivalent.
• Experience with predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints/electrical schematics.
• Demonstrated safety standards knowledge and practice.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE including belts, motors, sensors, relays, etc.
• Maintain positive relationships across the Operations facility.
• Able to move up to 49 lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders, and perform bending and lifting.
