Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians.

You will promote safety, complete preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot MHE while maintaining cross-functional relationships across Amazon Operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience or Amazon certification.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• 2+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years demonstrating safety standards experience.
• 2+ years troubleshooting MHE experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all MHE (material handling equipment).
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all Amazon Operations facilities.
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand and walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, and perform bending, lifting and reaching.
