Job summary

Amazon Operations is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, strong safety practices, and the ability to work variable shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience or completion of Amazon apprenticeship.
• 2+ years in predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE (belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays).
• Maintain positive working relationships across all Amazon Operations facilities.
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders, and perform bending and lifting as required.
