Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Starting pay covers base plus shift differentials; health benefits start Day 1, 401(k) matching, and up to 20 weeks of parental leave.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience, or certification from Amazon's Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship Program.
2+ years of preventive maintenance procedures experience.
2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
2+ years of safety standards experience.
2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment (MHE).

Responsibilities

Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
Maintain a positive working relationship across all Amazon Operations facilities.
Move up to 49lbs, stand for shifts up to 12 hours, and climb ladders and gangways safely.
