Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the site. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

This role requires flexibility with shifts, strong safety practice, and the ability to move up to 49 lbs while standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience with MS Office.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends.
• Mechatronics/Robotics Apprenticeship cert or 2+ years conveyor experience.
• 2+ years preventive and predictive maintenance experience.
• 2+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years demonstrating safety standards.
• 2+ years troubleshooting MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical MHE components.
• Maintain positive relations within the Operations facility.
• Lift up to 49 lbs, stand for shifts up to 12 hours, use ladders safely.
