Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team, repairing material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

Expect preventive maintenance, troubleshooting of MHE, and collaboration across Amazon facilities. The role involves physical demands and shift flexibility with competitive Day 1 benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience or certification in Mechatronics/Robotics preferred.
• Basic MS Office and typing skills for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE, belts, motors, sensors, and relays.
• Maintain positive working relationships across Amazon Operations facilities.
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, and climb ladders safely.
