Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team across building facilities. You will repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, install and service automated packaging equipment, and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 1+ years of MS Office experience.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience or apprenticeship program certification.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of safety standards experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE (belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays).
• Maintain positive working relationships across all Amazon Operations facilities.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders, bend and reach as required.
