Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians.

Expect a role that emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and cross-site collaboration within our Reliability & Maintenance Engineering group.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Amazon RME Mechatronics & Robotics Technician experience.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• High School diploma, or equivalent.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift including weekends/nights/holidays.
• Can commute to the specified work site.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain positive working relationships across all Amazon Operations facilities.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely.
