Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment across the facility. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on diagnostics, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems or certification from Amazon's Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship Program.
• 2+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment (MHE).

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all Amazon Operations facility.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, and perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.
