Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team across the building, repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, and installing and servicing automated packaging and distribution gear. You will mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience or apprenticeship program certification.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience.
• 2+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of safety standards experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE.
• Maintain a positive working relationship across the Operations facility.
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders safely, and perform bending and lifting.
