Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in Whitestown, IN to support the Operations Maintenance team. You will repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, install and service automated packaging, and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products experience
• Willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience or apprenticeship completion
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience
• 2+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics
• 2+ years safety standards experience
• 2+ years troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE
• Maintain positive working relationships across all Amazon Operations facilities
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders safely
• Shift assignments may vary; cannot guarantee a specific shift
