Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience with Microsoft Office.
• 2+ years automated conveyor systems and controls experience or apprenticeship certification.
• 2+ years predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• 2+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years demonstrating safety standards experience.
• 2+ years troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment (MHE).

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all MHE.
• You will maintain a positive working relationship across the Amazon Operations facility.
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand and walk up to 12-hour shifts, climb ladders, bend, lift, and reach.
