Job summary

Amazon in Greenfield, IN is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the facility. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, while mentoring junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification from Amazon’s Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship Program, or 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience.
• 2+ years of conductive maintenance and diagnostics on MHE equipment.
• 2+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years demonstrating safety standards compliance.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all Amazon Operations facilities.
• Move up to 49 lbs and perform shifts up to 12 hours with ladders and bending.
